5 sessions at Edgewood Farm

This class will focus on carving foam to create sculptural forms. We will then coat the foam with various materials— including paper pulp, plaster and mixed media—to create finished pieces. This is a fun and easy technique that can be done at home with very few tools. Beginners are welcome, and advanced students will learn some new tricks.  We will be looking at organic forms in nature for inspiration.

All materials are included in the price of this workshop. Students, please wear closed-toed shoes to class. If you have protective eyewear and/or work gloves you prefer, feel free to bring them. Safety equipment is available in the shop.
