Through mixed media mask making, participants of the class can experiment with different avenues and techniques to make a personal, wearable piece of art. With paper mache, recycled materials, found objects, and natural elements, participants can work toward a visual piece that could be incorporated into a performance, spoken word, or photography opportunity. While incorporating various creative techniques and performance styles, participants can "crop rotate'' different outlets that feed each other, rounding out a full creative and embodied experience.
