Instructor: Vanessa Vartabedian
Monday - Friday
July 22 - 26
9am - 12pm
5 sessions

Through the process of crafting a 5-7-minute personal story, you will gain the unique skill set for developing and telling a compelling story for live performance. Through physical exploration, guided sense memory, writing, and audio recording, you will identify the core of your story, form a solid outline, and create the story structure. Each day will consist of feedback from peers and the instructor, as well as substantial one-to-one story coaching. Whether you are an aspiring story slam participant or experienced stage performer, preparing for TEDx or shaping your brand’s story, this workshop is for you. Come create the story you want to tell in a supportive, productive environment. All participants will have the opportunity to tell their stories on The Mosquito stage, and your story will be recorded for you to keep. Participation in the live event is not required!

*This class will meet at Edgewood Farm. Bring with you writing materials.
