Master the basics of contemporary dance in this fun, dynamic and energizing three-day workshop. Students will be introduced to basic dance warm-ups and several fun dance combinations using elements of hip hop, modern and current dance trends. The class will also give students an opportunity to improvise and add their own touches to create bespoke works. Our music playlists will draw from today's most popular artists. 

All levels welcome. No experience needed. Ages: 10-14. This workshop takes place at Edgewood Farm.

Liz Milwe is a dance teacher and choreographer. She has taught dance at Sarah Lawrence College and The American Academy of Dramatic Arts.  She has choreographed on Broadway, MTV, and for film and commercials. Her instructional dance series, Hip Hop for Kids, won the Parent Choice Honors Award for Best Children’s Video and is currently distributed in the USA and abroad by Bayview Entertainment. Her dance films, The Wedding and BeachDreams have been shown at dance film festivals throughout the world. Her most recent project, an environmental PSA to promote the Pollinator Pathway, won the Communicators Award and a Telly’s Award. She is currently working on the Choreoplay, Just One, a one-act play about addiction.
