Improve your ability to see and mix color! We will mix a full range of colors from just red, yellow and blue. Then we will add three more colors and you’ll have a versatile but simple way to achieve harmony and vibrancy in your paintings.   Learn to recognize what you are seeing even in whites,  neutral colors,  and darks.  Mixing from primaries  improves  your recognition of  relative temperature, hue, and value. We will paint in oil, from still life in the studio.   All levels, some drawing experience required.

Valerie Isaacs has been painting on Cape Cod since 2016. She is represented by Hammock Gallery in Provincetown. She studied Architecture at Penn State, drawing and etching in Spain, painting at the Fleisher Art Memorial (Philadelphia) and with Douglas Balentine (Charleston SC).
