Improve your ability to see and mix color! Painting mostly outdoors, we will mix a full range of colors from just red, yellow and blue. Then we will add three more colors and you’ll have a versatile but simple way to achieve harmony and vibrancy in your landscape paintings.   Mixing from primary colors improves  your recognition of  relative temperature, hue, and value.  We will focus on mixing good greens and achieving depth and perspective through color differences.  Drawing experience required; painting experience recommended.

Valerie Isaacs has been painting on Cape Cod since 2016. She is represented by Hammock Gallery in Provincetown. She studied Architecture at Penn State, drawing and etching in Spain, painting at the Fleisher Art Memorial (Philadelphia) and with Douglas Balentine (Charleston SC).
