Transform your throwing skills in just one week with Beyond the Basics, a dynamic intensive for intermediate students ready to elevate their craft. Through targeted drills, you’ll master the techniques to throw taller, lighter, and faster while building a strong foundation for advanced forms. Starting with cylinder drills, we’ll progress to complex shapes, handles, and attachments. By the end, you’ll feel more confident and capable, equipped with skills to enhance your pottery for years to come. 

Camille Beckles is the creator of Camille at the Wheel, a collection of wheel-thrown ceramics that blend beauty with function. Her hand-carved pieces elevate daily rituals and have been featured in Architectural Digest, The New York Times, West Elm, and Starbucks. Based in NYC, Camille teaches workshops at prestigious venues like the Metropolitan Museum of Art and practices her craft in a shared Long Island City studio.
