4. Techniques and Brushwork: Develop your brushwork skills. Experiment with layering, blending, impasto, and glazing techniques.

6.Beginning and Finishing a Painting: From that initial stroke to the final flourish, gain insights into the entire artistic process.

Each day, after a short lecture, you will create a new painting exploring the subject learned that day. Peter Chepus, a seasoned artist, has left an indelible mark on the world of visual expression. His journey began with formal education at NEW YORK UNIVERSITY, where he honed his artistic skills. Seeking further inspiration, he immersed himself in the vibrant atmosphere of the CAPE COD SCHOOL OF ARTS. However, it was at the ARMORY ART CENTER in Florida that Peter truly found his creative voice. For the past sixteen years, he has generously shared his knowledge and passion through captivating painting workshops in both Florida and the picturesque landscapes of Cape Cod. Peter's artistic roots trace back to his native Cuba, where he cultivated his craft. Over the span of over thirty years, he has painted professionally, infusing his work with cultural richness and personal experiences. His solo exhibitions have graced prestigious venues, including: The Palm Beach Hibel Museum of Art, Palm Beach Council on the Arts, Truro Public Library. Peter Chepus is represented by Cortile Gallery in Provincetown. Through his art, Peter Chepus invites us to explore the world through his eyes—a world where colors dance, emotions collide, and stories unfold on canvas.
