It’s ALIVE! A practical exploration of how to add digital dimensions work

We once feared the paperback book. It was going to be a distraction. It would popularize dangerous ideas. The over culture was wrong then, and it is wrong now. Digital art tools are not scary. They are tools. Learn how to manipulate AR, augmented reality, to your benefit. Unlock this simple but powerful new tool. No prior technology experience needed, other than basic smartphone understanding. The AR we use employs your phone's camera to lay stock animations over any flat image.

Sam works to connect creativity, innovation, and social impact entrepreneurship communities. He is the Director on Creativity and Entrepreneurship for the Lemann Program at Harvard College. Previously, he was the Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Harvard University's Operation Impact and an arts administrator at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he founded the Creative Arts Competition. Sam holds a patent for a hardware/software device that detects freefall and deploys an airbrake for drones. Sam also paints and writes. He is interested in the creative mindset and how dreams can influence our work. Drawing on muses like the Tarot and contemporary inspiration like generative artificial intelligence and augmented reality, Sam attempts to unlock a deeper source of creativity. Sam's goal is to create a meaningful user experience where the careful orchestration of human and non-human input deepens and clarifies guidance.
