Dive into the vibrant world of Pop Art! Learn to create your own masterpiece in the style of artist Diane Bleck. We will use her signature technique of drawing with paint daubers to create bold, graphic images that are filled with bright colors and energetic patterns. Choose your favorite subject matter—whether it’s a fun object, icon, or scene—and bring it to life with the playful, bold style that defines Diane’s work. This class is all about having fun, experimenting with color, and unleashing your creativity. Walk away with a colorful masterpiece inspired by the iconic Pop Art movement!
Kim Palmer has a Masters degree in Creative Arts & Learning from Lesley College and taught art for 34 years at the Kenneth C Coombs School in Mashpee. She developed an Artist in Residence Program, funded by grants, that enabled local artists to work in collaboration with students to create many beautiful murals. An ISTE conference inspired her love of integrating art and technology. Kim has presented several times with students at MassCUE and the Inspired Learning Convention on using robots in the art room. Her focus is to introduce students to different techniques and inspire them to “create bravely”.
