The three novelists featured are: Jamie Brenner, whose new novel Summer Longing is a story of motherhood and second chances in Provincetown; Christina Clancy, whose debut novel The Second Home delves into estranged siblings as they navigate the inheritance of a summer house in Wellfleet; and Karen Dukess, whose debut novel The Last Book Party follows a young woman from the publishing world of New York City to a literary enclave in Truro during the summer of 1987.
The authors will talk about their novels, the art of fiction, and what drew them to depicting this unique and rugged landscape as well as the locals and visitors who contribute to the character of the Outer Cape. In support of the event, the Wellfleet Marketplace will give registered ticket holders a 15 percent discount on signed editions of each novel.
“We’re thrilled to host this celebration of the Outer Cape Writers and host a Zoom Event to support them and their new books! Says, Cherie Mittenthal, Executive Artistic Director
