Sharon Harper
This is my third residency at Edgewood Farm. I come here because the place is beautiful, the people are amazing at making the place welcoming and nurturing, and meeting other artists is invaluable. And then there is the ocean. I currently live in Missouri so being on the coast replenishes me.

Nadia Washington

In crafting a project centered around the theme of "Nexus," my intentions are to intertwine ceramic sculpture and original songs to explore the intricate connections between art forms. Each ceramic sculpture will embody a different facet of the concept, from physical interconnectedness to metaphysical bonds. Simultaneously, I will compose songs that resonate with the essence of each sculpture, creating a symbiotic relationship between visual and auditory expression. Through this creative process, I seek to delve into the interconnectedness of art and community, inviting audiences to contemplate the ways in which we are all linked. Embracing both autonomy and collaboration, this project will celebrate the diverse threads that weave together the fabric of our shared human experience.

Alexandra Thompson

Alex Thompson is working on a project that reimagines a home from body, memory, and dream. She is interested in the sensual and protean overlap between ourselves and what we might think of as nature or other.
