Ellyn will discuss her recent installation at the American University Museum in Washington, DC. Years of extreme heat, rising sea levels, wildfires, drought, and various climate catastrophes have made the environments in which millions of people once lived no longer able to sustain human life. The installation confronts the full experience of leaving a life behind upon migration and starting a new one elsewhere.
