Have you ever been curious about the ukulele? It’s an incredibly social instrument because it's not intimidating and can be played by anyone, young or old, musician or non-musician. Its happy, joyful tone makes it a delight to play and welcome at any gathering. Take it to the beach or your next cook-out. Learn new songs or reinterpret your favorites while working with a musician who has decades of experience. It'll be a friendly, non-judgmental environment.  All ages welcome!
Please bring your own ukulele to the classes.  If you decide you would like to purchase one, you will find the Kala brand a very good choice; even the clear plastic ones are wonderful.  
An extra set of strings is always useful. 
Bring songs you would like to learn, or compositions of your own to work on.

In 2006 Mary J. Martin started broadcasting Mary's Ukulele Show on Cape Cod's community radio station, WOMR.  In New York, Nova Scotia, Montreal, Toronto, and Cape Cod, she has performed solo and in bands, on the uke and as a jazz violist.  She believes in the versatility of the uke.
