Join me for an exciting two-day workshop combining your photographs as collage with Encaustic painting. Collage is one of my favorite layers that I can add to my paintings! This process involves printing photographs on light-weight tissue paper and embedding the image with encaustic medium and paints. Image transfers will also be explored. Beautiful, translucent layers are created by adding oil pigment sticks above or below for color and depth. Editing your photographs to print large with software and apps will also be covered.  All levels welcome.

Jodi Reeb has been a full-time artist and teacher in Minneapolis for over 20 years creating paintings and sculptures. She received a BFA in Printmaking at the Minneapolis College of Art & Design. Her work has been shown nationally and is in numerous private and corporate collections. She received the Minnesota Artist’s Initiative Grant in 2018, is a CORE Instructor for R&F Handmade Paints and teaches workshops in her studio and across the country.
